| NCTheMeal is an alter ego born over a decade ago. And, this page exists as a cyber gallery meant to display artsy stuff in a somewhat extremist way. For the time being, the theme is Sexy Love. BIO NCTheMeal was accepted into the Creative Writing Program for poetic studies during her initial collegiate years at UCLA. She enjoyed the curriculum thoroughly and matured as an artist under the guidance of poet Stephen Yenser. After graduating with a degree in English, NCTheMeal explored other forms of writing in professional settings. She pursued local journalism for one year, then worked as an in-house and freelance writer in the music business for over five years. Additionally, she has dabbled in genres such as translations, short stories and lyrics. Today, she continues to write poetry solely as a hobby. NCTheMeal has performed readings at UCLA and Cal Poly Pomona in the past. Her most recent reading took place at the Zephyr Coffee House in Pasadena, CA on September 20, 2007. More readings will be sporadically listed in 2008. Samples of her poetry can be viewed on the player under "Lyrics" as well as on the blogs under "Published Works." Samples of some of her nonpoetic artwork, i.e. photo art, can be viewed in the pictures section. |
