I am playing drums since a lot of years. Bands came and went and so after the break-up of another band (early 2006) we (Onno,Jos and myself) thought it would be cool to put our positive thoughts,energy and lifestyle into the music we love but in another way then we did before.The result of this thought is a band called Dead Unity.After a few months of making songs (Sjoerd came to join us during that period) we decided to make some songs the old fashioned way too, what resulted in Too Many Times' second life....unfortunately we didn't have enough time for both bands so we took TMT to rest again!!After a while,playing as a fourpiece with a lot of fun,good songs and shows, we decided we needed a 2nd guitarplayer and a 'real' singer....so Peggy and Koen stepped in and did what they do best. Together we started the beginning of the end as a sixpiece. And so it was the 3 of us again....by the time Maarten stepped in on bass,Onno called it quits. Sven joined us on guitar and we started making new songs again...we did a few shows and we are ready to rock Besides the music thing I am a dad too, our house is changed into a playground for 2 rad kids,a 6 year old boy who wants to be Spiderman or any kind of superhero (and a singer)in the near future so that he can rescue the world...and a 1 year old dude who's exploring every inch......during the day i spend my time at the local hospital with a bunch of people who run all over the place to get things where they are needed so that everybody can do what they are supposed to do in the proces of fixing people. To keep it all together I spend my weekends in my favourite "Cantina",selling people drinks,drink mine and talk about everything you talk about in a bar.... We're happy,grateful for what we have and live our lives making it worthwile..... |
