The Soultwisters are a four piece instrumental boogaloo band, playing a groovy mix of soul, funk, blues and jazzy flavoured party music that can be danced, lead by an incredible sax player Panu ”Saxman” Syrjanen, Luumu Kaikkonen on guitars, Mikko Vuorela on basses, Leevi Leppanen on drums and percussions. The musicians of The Soultwisters are all wellknown in a finnish music scene, both live and studio. The Soultwisters started playing live in 2005 in Helsinki club scene. Bändiä johtaa saksofonivirtuoosi Panu ”Saxman” Syrjänen, Luumu Kaikkonen – kitarat, Mikko Vuorela – bassot, Leevi Leppänen – rummut ja perkussiot. Kaikki bändin soittajat ovat tunnettuja useista yhteyksistä suomalaisen rytmimusiikin ympyröissä. Bändin vieraina on ollut joukko suomalaisia mustan musiikin huippuosaajia.
