Other than being a damn good lookin' Irish boy , I like to camp, fish, do anything outdoors really....I have no drama in life and I like to keep it that way, so if you're a drama queen, look elsewhere for pity friends... Currently I work for KBER 101 fm, under their promotional department and as a board op. I enjoy it. I am also on the air with my mentor/friend, Darby, occasionally. I also co-host Helmut VonSchmidt's 'Salt Lake Sound Check'. Which is a full hour of all local music on KBER 101. If it weren't for those two guys, I'd never be on air, I owe them a lot! I also work as a stagehand to concerts that come through the Salt Lake area. So needless to say I'm a very busy guy, but I do find time for partyin'. For some reason I come off as intimidating. I dunno why, but I assure ya I'm a very nice guy. Radio is my absolute passion. Not just being some segue jock, but a real radio personality. I couldn't be in a better position in life than now. And due to my hard work, passion, and having the best teachers of any broadcasting company, I can say now I'm on air once a week with Helmut and soon to more (I Hope). I have learned a lot from everyone there. Mick and Allen, Kelly Hammer, and of course Darby & Helmut. Needless to say I'm very happy in life and sooner than ya think you'll be hearing a lot more Metalhead Murphy invading your air waves! |
