BIO: Founded in 1995 as a response to the cross-polination of the funky underground music scene in San Francisco in a time when club music was only found in the clubs on mix tapes. Om released Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz, one of the first nationally recognized continuously mixed CD's by a DJ. Now 10 years strong, Om Records stands as one of the only true independent labels still surviving for the love and growing with the times.
