Setting foot center stage at the age of five was the beginning of a life long love affair of music and performing for Alana Beamish. At this tender age she stood in front of a single guitar player with a microphone on a stand and belted out “Jolene” by Dolly Parton to the students and parents at a holiday school function. The following applause and standing ovation told her, even at that age, what she wanted to do with her life. Starting this young has given her a very strong stage presence. From that point on it was dance lessons, learning to play the violin and piano, and working with vocal coaches. Alana found jobs near and around music at all times, singing in bands and working as a radio personality for many years. This allowed her to meet many people in the music business, making contacts and learning the ropes along the way. Alana has a strong background in blues, bluegrass and country music. These influences shine through in her vocals. She is now venturing into song writing, and playing percussion instruments.

Music has been the focal point of Kevin Beamish for nearly all his life. From sifting through his parents old albums as a young boy, to hiding outside a neighborhood garage listening to a bunch of high school boys band rehearsals, to studying communications (radio) at Michigan State University, to forming an entertainment service in the mid 1990’s. Kevin’s main focus has always been music. He began songwriting in earnest in the late 1980’s, bringing together his varied musical influences. You’ll note a distinct Caribbean flavor in some of his works. Beamish also draws from deep rock roots, as well as flavorings of country, blues, and even bluegrass. During his years as a broadcast announcer, his travels took him from the mid-west through Mississippi, and Alabama with several stops along the Northwest Florida Coast, and eventually to the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Beamish performed with area musicians at each stop along the way, soaking up varied and eclectic influences through his experiences. Kevin Beamish is an extremely gifted songwriter and guitarist.
