For millions of years I didn't exist. And like Mark Twain, I didn't miss it (existence) one little bit. Then I was born. Now I feel the pain and the joy of being. And will do until I die. In the interim I try to make music. About the pain and the joy. And when I die I will stop. And no-one will miss me. But I won't care, because I will have returned to the state of blissful ignorance that prevailed before I was born. |
