| Central Cali-based HOSTILE has their heavy metal heart in the right place, with badass influences like GOATWHORE, ANAL CUNT, PANTERA, SLAYER, and mucho puffs of 420. As you might expect, there are lots of different sounds here. (This is Good.) Josh Jensen's black-toothed, exorcism-inducing vocals take entertaining twists and turns around thought provoking lyrics to fast, catchy ditties like "Tweeker Rage" and "Hate Your Money Maker." Meanwhile Chris Watson's drums pummel away, while Rick Wood and Jeremy Patterson's axes rage on. HOSTILE kick out all the stops in their live shows, having frequently appeared on LA's famed Sunset Strip alongside the likes of ARMORED SAINT, CREMATORIUM and VEHEMENCE.
