WHO are TDMS?Once upon a time, 2 mysterious masked guys (brothers, cousins, or maybe stepbrothers, who knows...) between 20 and 45 met each other & then played in many many unfamous punk/garage & antifolk NYC bands influenced by Daniel Johnston, Cocorosie, Kimya Dawson, Dead Kennedys, Syd Barret, The Slits, The stooges, The Velvet Underground, Frank Sinatra, Hank Williams... One of them suffers from an orphan disease, one can tell he’s a kinda “part-time dumb” so please be kind & do not expect too much (“words”) from him! TDMS are addicted to surrealistic humour & incomprehensible puns and also lately confessed the only good reason why they chose to form a duet is ‘cause the fewer members there are in a band, the more girls you get... 2 TDMS Eps were previously released on the small indie label “hidden prophets records”. TDMS live performances are always a quite short, undeniably intense, but extremely chaotic ....experience! |
