| "Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do." John WoodenI am Robbie, a person who is trying to find his way in this vast world of ours. I have many set goals and dreams for myself. I have been raised strongly and strictly. I have had to cope with many difficult situations in my life. Many at which were very heart breaking for me but these events have only made me stronger; and have given me the will and the great desire to live an amazing life.I lost many family members just a few years ago. Those who mainly raised me are now looking down on me. What I have learned from them, I shall never forget. All that they have bestowed on me will carry me throughout my life. In 2006 I lost 3 family member all 3 months apart. All from the same side of my family, my moms side.These were the people I was closest to. Some died right beside me. I took great care of my ill grandparents as the life was slowly being drained out of them, though I didn't let this ruin my life. I made their lives the best I could for them as they were becoming more ill as the days went on.Being around such heart wrenching situations has made me as strong and will determined as I am today. I will forever be greatful to my grandparents as they thought me so much about life, I had to grow up faster than most teenagers; but this was my choice. I couldn't see them lose their home and be sent away to nursing homes. I felt as if when I was a child they took care of me and gave me a place to stay and be safe and well taken care of; and I felt it was my obligation to do the same for them.I left college after a year and a half of schooling to take care of them. I felt this was what I had to do. They took care of me for 18 years and now this was my turn to do the same for them in return. I feel that this has strengthened my will power to do what I can for everyone around me in life, and not let anyone walk all over me like a welcome mat you scuff your feet on ...I am a very giving person, very loving and warm hearted. I will do all that I can for my family and friends. I am not a liar, nor do I put on an act to impress anyone. This is who I am, either you like me or you don't.
