E’ aperto a fotografi amatoriali e professionisti che lavorino con qualsiasi tecnica fotografica. Il concorso è rivolto a tutti coloro che ritengano di aver fatto fotografie rappresentative nell’ambito della musica indipendente italiana e/o internazionale. Le immagini possono avere qualsiasi tipo di soggetto e situazione legata all’idea di musica dal vivo: live, performances, backstage, momenti di tournée, pubblico, attimi di festivals, ritratti, ecc. 2 La partecipazione è gratuita. I fotografi selezionati dovranno sostenere le spese di stampa e montaggio su cornici o passepartout delle proprie opere e della relativa spedizione 3 Le fotografie devono essere inviate via e-mail con un formato .jpeg con dimensioni non superiori ai 1920x1440 pixel all’indirizzo di posta elettronica nosilenz.photo.contest@live.it La scheda di partecipazione, debitamente compilata, dovrà essere allegata alla stessa e-mail. L’e-mail deve avere come oggetto “No Silenz Photo Contest”. Nella scheda di partecipazione i fotografi devono segnalare le misure reali di stampa e il supporto definitivo qualora vengano selezionati. Successivamente gli autori, selezionati dalla giuria per il concorso e per la mostra, realizzeranno il lavoro nel formato e nella presentazione definitiva come dichiarato nella scheda di partecipazione. Ogni fotografo può partecipare con un massimo di 5 fotografie, anche articolate come opera unica. Ogni fotografia deve essere numerata per facilitarne l’identificazione. Le fotografie dovranno essere spedite entro il 15 giugno 2008. 4 Gli autori delle fotografie selezionate riceveranno comunicazione via e-mail o via telefono entro il 30 giugno 2008. I materiali selezionati dovranno essere spediti in busta chiusa entro e non oltre il 10 luglio a: FM18 c/o Eliseo Barbàra Via S.Vincenzo, 8 (cit. 18) 20123 Milano 5 Le opere selezionate verranno esposte in una mostra allestita nelle sale interne del No Silenz Indie Rock Festival , manifestazione giunta quest’anno alla X edizione, che si svolgerà a Coniolo di Orzinuovi (BS) dal 17 al 20 Luglio 2008. 6 Il vincitore del concorso verrà avvisato entro il 15 Luglio, mentre la proclamazione ufficiale avverrà durante la manifestazione. Gradita, anche se non indispensabile, la presenza del vincitore al momento della proclamazione. Al primo classificato verrà assegnato il premio di € 500,00 (Euro cinquecento/00). 7 La partecipazione al concorso verrà automaticamente considerata come autorizzazione al trattamento delle immagini per usi inerenti al concorso. Il nome dell’autore verrà indicato ovunque possibile. La partecipazione al concorso comporta l’accettazione integrale delle norme del presente bando. Ciascun partecipante dichiara e garantisce che le opere presentate sono frutto esclusivo della propria opera e che egli è titolare di ogni diritto morale e patrimoniale. In ogni caso, l’autore delle fotografie di persone riconoscibili dovrà esonerare l’organizzazione da qualsiasi responsabilità e/o richiesta avanzata dai soggetti ritratti. 8 Il giudizio della giuria è insindacabile. 9 Le opere selezionate non verranno restituite. 10 L’organizzazione, pur assicurando la massima cura delle opere, declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali smarrimenti, furti e danni. ____________________________________________________________ ___ ____________________________________________________________ ___ ENGLISH VERSION 1 The competition NO SILENZ PHOTO CONTEST i s open to all without distinction of any kind. It’s open to amateur and professionals photographers who work with any photographic technique. The competition is aimed at all those who feel they have done photographs representative in the italian and / or international independent music scene. Images can be any type of person and situation related to the idea of live music: live performances, backstage, moments of tours, public moments of festivals, portraits, etc... 2 Participation is free.The photographers selected must bear the costs of printing and mounting frames their works and their shipment 3 The photographs must be sent via e-mail with a jpeg format with no more than 1920x1440 pixels to the email address nosilenz.photo.contest@live.it The application form, duly completed, should be attached to the same e-mail. The e-mail must have as object "No Silenz Photo Contest". In its participation photographers have to report the real dimensions of the print and the definitive support, in case of selection. Afterwards, the authors selected by the Jury for the competition and the exhibition will implement the work in the format and the final presentation as stated in the application form. Each picture may participate with a maximum of 5 photographs, also articulated as a work unique. Each photograph must be numbered for ease of identification. The photographs will be posted within June 15th, 2008. 4 The authors of selected photographs will be informed by e-mail or by phone by June 30, 2008. The materials selected will be sent in a sealed envelope no later than July 10th to: FM18 c/o Eliseo Barbàra Via S.Vincenzo, 8 (cit. 18) 20123 Milano 5 The selected works will be shown in an exhibitionastaged in the internal halls No Silenz Indie Rock Festival , come this year to the tenth edition, will be held in Coniolo di Orzinuovi (BS) from 17th to 20th July 2008. 6 The winner of the contest will be notified by July 15, while the official announcement will take place during the event. Appreciated, though not essential, the presence of the winner at the time of the proclamation. The first runner-up will be awarded the prize of € 500,00 (Five hundred euros/00). 7 Participation in the contest will automatically be considered as an authorization to image processing for uses relating to the competition. The name will be indicated whenever possible. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the rules of this notice. Each participant represents and warrants that the works presented are the result only of his work and that he holds any moral rights and assets. In any case, the author of photographs of recognizable people should exempt the organization from any liability and / or request made by the portrayed people. 8 The judgement of the Jury is unchallengeable. 9 The selected works will not be returned. 10 The organization, albeit ensuring maximum care of the works, disclaims any responsibility for any loss, theft and damage. ____________________________________________________________ ___ ____________________________________________________________ ___ ____________________________________________________________ ___ FM18 è un incrocio caotico e incidentale, non è una rotonda. F sta per FOTOGRAFIA M sta per MUSICA 18 sta per 18 FM18 è un incrocio aperto a tutti. Uno spazio, per ora, di passaggio dove esporre e suonare, parlare e incazzarsi, conoscere e stupire. Uno spazio che prova a sopravvivere alla desolazione nostrana in cui vive sia la musica indie (nel senso originario di indie) sia la fotografia contemporanea che invece prova a trovare altri spazi, anche istituzionali, ma ancora arranca. FM18 non vuole essere un'ancora di salvataggio di nessuno. FM18 vuole vedere nascere da queste pagine qualcosa di concreto, forte, vincente. FM18 cerca fotografie che colpiscano l'occhio.
