| Italiano:Mirko Fait nasce a Milano il 3 giugno 1965 da una famiglia di artisti. Sia il nonno materno che paterno suonavano diversi strumenti. Il padre Camillo, chitarrista jazz, negli anni 60 era conosciuto con il gruppo dei "Milord" e diverse volte si esibì al Santa Tecla con Chet Baker. Ora è un affermato pittore di fama internazionale.Mirko Inizia a suonare la chitarra classica in tenera età ma è solo più tardi che si rende conto che il suo bagaglio culturale è il jazz. Per questo, verso i venticinque anni decide di iniziare una nuova avventura studiando il sax contralto. Inizia gli studi a Bergamo con Alberto Nacci, grande sassofonista dall'approccio molto etnico e viscerale allo strumento. Ritrasferitosi a Milano continua gli studi con il sax tenore con il maestro Michele Bozza, Giulio Visibelli, Emanuele Cisi e altri fino ad arrivare alle ultime lezioni con Michael Rosen.Vista la notevole intraprendenza, milita da subito in diversi gruppi, dall'Officina della Misura, gruppo fusion con i fratelli Vogli ai Too Much Coffee Soul Band capitanati da Marco Malinverno. Fonda il gruppo Five for You con l'amico trombettista Marco Luigini al quale si aggiungono poi il batterista Enrico Patriarchi, il bassista Armando Nicosia e in ultima battuta il chitarrista Marco Flocco e la cantante Manuela Villa.Nel gennaio 2002 con il trombettista e pianista cubano
Gendrickson Mena Diaz viene chiamato a Pitti Uomo per suonare nei quattro giorni della manifestazione per un noto stilista.
Da quel momento iniziano molte collaborazioni professionali.
Suona per Giuseppe Romano della soap opera “Vivere” alla presentazione di un suo brano cantato a teatro.
Suona con i concertisti Danilo Manto e Max Patrick in un progetto del compositore Manto di musica contemporanea dal quale nasce il primo CD.
Si esibisce in diversi locali milanesi e della Lombardia con Mario Manduci, Ezio Salfa, Gendrickson Mena, Giorgio Vogli, Angelo Bifezzi e tanti altri.Attualmente sta lavorando alla realizzazione del primo CD
che lo vede impegnato come compositore jazz insieme al grande trombettista Gendrickson Mena , arrangiatore e direttore artistico di questo lavoro di cui potete ascoltare qui due brani (Lastlove e Sad eyes child).English:Mirko Fait was born in Milan, 3rd June 1965, and grew up in a family of artits. Both his grandfathers played several instruments. His father Camillo, a jazz guitarist, was well-known in the sixties with his band “Milord” and performed often at Santa Tecla with Chet Baker. Now he is an internationally known painter.Mirko started playing classical guitar when a child but realises later his cultural heritage is jazz. This is why, in his early twenties, he decides to challenge himself studying sax contralto. He starts his studies in Bergamo with Alberto Nacci, a great saxophonist with an ethnic and heartfelt approach to his instrument. Going back to Milan keeps studying sax tenore with musicians as Michele Bozza, Giulio Visibelli, Emanuele Cisi and others till Michael Rosen.Hanging out with several bands as the fusion oriented Officina della Misura, with the Vogli brothers, and the Too Much Coffee Soul Band, headed by Marco Malinverno. He sets up the band Five for You with a friend trumpeter Marco Luigini, to whom others add: the percussionist Enrico Patriarchi, the bass guitarist Armando Nicosia, the guitarist Marco Flocco and the singer Manuela Villa.In January 2002 with the Cuban trumpeter and pianist Gendrickson Mena Diaz he is called by Pitti Uomo to play during the 4 days happening of the famous fashion designer. From that moment many other professional partnerships occur. Mirko plays for Giuseppe Romano (from the soap opera “Vivere”) at the presentation of a singed piece in theatre.He also plays with Danilo Manto and Max Patrick and works at Manto’s project of contemporary music from which the first CD is born. Mirko exhibits through bars in Milan and Lombardy with Mario Manducci, Ezio Salfa, Gendrickson Mena, Giorgio Vogli, Angelo Bifezzi and many others.He is now working at his first CD as a jazz composer, together with the great trumpeter Gendrickson Mena , coordinator and art director of this new work, of which you can here listen to a couple of pieces (Lastlove e Sad eyes child).
