STRAIGHT TO HELL RACE WITH THE DEVIL FROM THE NEW RELEASE POPA CHUBBY WITH GALEA VICIOUS COUNTRY Galea appears on one disc of this double live CD. It was recorded for radio FIP in Paris. Their version of "Motorcycle Mama" can be heard on regular rotation on Sirius satellite radio's Blues station. Popa and Galea do the '60s, man. The mighty Black Coffee Blues Band. She rocks, writes solid tunes, and thumps the heck out of the bass (which, incidentally, she didn't pick up until she was 37). With the help pf Chubby's band-mates and killer production - not to mention a great tune list that includes the Randall Weeks classic "Can't Let Go" - Galea delivers a rocking, two-stepping pot-pourri. The fun peaks during "My Real Daddy" and "Let's Run Together", ditties where the couple sing together. What's next? A duets album? Sounds good to me.
