After 25 years working for the conventional radios, and 40 years of collecting records, in Chicago, Paris and Nice, Sir Ali decided to dive into the future's media and launch his radio on the internet. True to the image of its creator, Radio Jazzur is far from being an average station on the earth-web and certainly incomparable with any jazz radio, any where in the galaxy. "Jazz but not nostalgia" is the slogan of radio Jazzur. Therefore no "jazz greats hits" and/or "Goldies" are included in the programation of Sir Ali, but he offers you thousands of other "un-explored great jazz pieces", from the 4 corners of the world. Radio Jazzur is the meeting point of jazz with classical and world music, also the gathering place of all forms of today's jazz, the resurfacing corner of the "B sides" and for the first time the show-casing of all the jazz of the French Riviera. WWW.RADIOJAZZUR.NET is a web site in construction and will be fully in function by the autumn of 2007. The definitive radio Jazzur will include a vast play-list but also reports, shows, interviews, live concerts and a multi-media library. For the time, the music of the station is availab le on a basic form of the radio, through "Live 365". To reach it, you must click on Jazzur's logo, enter the site of "Jazz Actions" and get connected with the radio. This "My space" covers another aspect of the future Jazzur, by giving the informations and visuals of the artists that we broadcast.....as well as a small selection of the music including the play-list of "Radio Jazzur Live 365". P.S.: The works of absolutely all the musician-friends on this blog appear on radio Jazzur. Proudly we acclaim that a number of these artists are only heard on our radio. Radio Jazzur est le point de rencontre du jazz avec la musique classique et la World Music, ainsi que lle lieu de réunion de toutes les formes du jazz d'aujourd'hui, le coin de la revanche des "faces B" et , pour la première fois, la vitrine de tout le Jazz de la Côte d'Azur. www.radiojazzur.net est un site web en construction et sera pleinement fonctionnel au cours de l'automne 2007. La version définitive de Radio Jazzur inclura une vaste play-liste mais aussi des reportages, des émissions, des interviews, des concerts live, et une bibliothèque multi-media. Pour le moment, la musique de la station est disponible sous une forme basique de radio, à travers "Live 365".
