About Me |
|
Music can be much more than the sounds you hear: there is a connection with the meanings, feelings, the band, and the others around you. Few bands offer this experience. Guitarist Robert Uhoda describes Audiblethread as “our way to connect to you through music...it’s what keeps us together.” In the last 5 years Audiblethread has been sharing our style of "Intelli-rock" throughout Ohio and surrrounding states. In May of 2004 they were voted “Best Band in Cleveland,” by our fans. A contest held by Scene Magazine and Chicago’s MECA Music Conference, securing them a spot in the showcase. 2005 showed a change in direction with the release “Polar Shifts: A Prelude to the Positive/Negative,” The E.P. included reworked versions of “Nexus” and “Coeval,” along with new songs “This Synapse Is Broken,” “The Focus,” and our own rendition of NIN’s “Something I Can Never Have.” The songs became more structured and the band was on our way, finding our own voice. This release also started capturing the live performance, that had not been audible in the "Blue: the fifth imprint EP."(2004) Our next release is scheduled for sometime before 2012, titled, “Polar Shifts: Vibrations.” First tracking at Conquistador Studios (North Olmstead, OH), where Cole Martinez (guitarist/composer and engineer for Abigail Williams) recorded and captured the new material. Now we have started to work with Ben Schigel at Spider Studios to finish it up. This new release will be showcasing our constant evolution--we are growing as musicians and songwriters. We all really happy an excited that we've taken more time on this new release. It definately shows a big step for us in a new direction.
