www.myspaceeditor.it THE SOUND OF MOURNING is a project amidst music and death, which derivates from the concept of “thanatology” – i.e. the study of death as a dimension for a dialogue that enables a privileged reflection on life and death -, through the interdisciplinary and transversal connection of various fields of thought. Its objective is to build up a bridge between music and death, through memory, art and communication, with european and international contributions. Each farewell reminds us of the frailty of life, the precariousness of certainty, the inevitability of separation, the mistery of our future. For this reason “The Sound of Mourning” aims at supporting our reflections, through an alternative point of view which reveals unforeseen features and connections. |
