The "not Knowing what tomorrow may bring" is what keeps me driven. My career is dedicated to the loving memory of my parents. As a result and a fitting tribute to them I savor each moment of my life to the fullest. It was on a night out with friends on a dare back in 2003 that I performed a comedy routine at an open mike night while at a comedy club. Since that moment I just kept going forward and never looked back. I started writing materials and performing at various clubs. The word was out and shortly afterwards I signed with a production company. I hosted a few talent shows for up and coming entertainers and was given the creative freedom to implement my ideas and perform most of my original materials on stage. Eventually I decided to explore other creative directions which gave me the opportunity to grow and sharpen my skills. I've never been one to fear change as I hold myself accountable for my actions and live my life having no regrets. I self promoted my talents and performing led to other opportunities such as giving motivational speeches at local business seminars. The feeling of having someone come up to me after a speech and thank me for somehow having a positive impact on his/her life was well worth it. I also took the time to start writing a book and it's nearing it's completion. I've learned that inspiring performances are life's journeys and experiences, good and bad, pitfalls and triumphs translated on stage or the big screen like an painter working a bare canvas. I'm back doing stand-up comedy and hosting shows and working on various projects. videos of recent and future shows will be posted soon on a new Comedy page currently under construction. the best is yet to come, so keep an eye out for Denbar and Holla @ ya boi on MySpace!!!Stay blessed!!!!!1 |
