| Dying Awkward Angel starts back in 2000 with founder members Edoardo Demuro (guitars) and Ivan Longo (bass); with the cooperation of Ale (drums), Alessandro (vocals) and Federico (guitars) they recorded in 2002 the first self entitled Demo CD. The record takes very good reviews over italian magazines (Top Demo on Metal Shock) and sold very well, giving to the band the chance to play lots of gigs in the north Italy area. With the departure of Federico (guitars) Daniele joined the band, and then the Angel strikes back in 2004 with a new platter called 'Ghost at the spine'. This new CD shows some improvements both in songwritig and exececution and take the band to another level. Just after the recording sessions of 'Ghost at the spine' Alessandro (vocals) quits the band, replaced by Benny Bianco Chinto (former vocalist of the well known italian metal band Disarmonia Mundi), and the band plays lots of gigs with this established lineup. Another lineup change in january 2005, when Ale (Drums) quits the band and it's replaced by Cosimo De Nola (former drummer of Broken Art), and in summer 2006, when Sergio Costa (ex Art Of Darkness) replaced Daniele on guitars. Currently the band is pre-producing some new stuff which hopefully will be recorded late this year.
