| Un trío es un trío, es un trío, es un trío... Es decir, no son uno más dos. Si no que se lo pregunten a Evans, a Bley o a Jarrett. Roger Mas y sus acólitos conocen bien la respuesta. Aquí no hay un monólogo subrayado rítmicamente por dos comparsas más o menos discretos y anónimos. Aquí hay diálogo a tres voces por igual. Y además no nos cuentan vaguedades.

Three confirmed talents that have been working the national scene for the last five years, playing here open formulas for trio format, where pianist Roger Mas, bassist Bori Albero and drummer Juanma Nieto, explore different ways of improvisation. In some tracks they benefit of special support by guitarist Jaume Llombart, bassist David Mengual, Jon Robles and Ernesto Aurignac on saxes. Sounds Like: Esta formación encuentra su origen con Roger Mas, Bori Albero y Juanma Nieto, y se desarrolla alrededor de los originales y arreglos proporcionados por el pianista. Los tres, partícipes en numerosas formaciones juntos y separados (como Joan Monné Nou Nonet, Ernesto Aurignac 4et, Laia Cagigal-Apnea, L.T.M., Proyecto Zero, Jo krause 4et, Jaume Llombart Jazzfrika,Luismo Valladares 5et, Roger Mas 5et …), prepararon unas sesiones de estudio en diciembre de 2004 junto a Jon Robles, Jaume Llombart, Ernesto Aurignac y David Mengual. Parte de estas sesiones forman parte del álbum llamado Among•3, perteneciente a Fresh Sound New Talent Records.Juanma Nieto, Bori Albero i Roger Mas se conocieron en el ámbito del ESMUC – Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña, ahora hace ya cinco años. Su trabajo conjunto y constante en estos años los ha llevado a colaborar y divertirse con gran cantidad de músicos , entre ellos, el experimentado y brillante saxofonista : Jon Robles.
