| I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 WHY ELIAS?... ask Jackson or watch Platoon... Why are we a band?..Sprung from the ashes of Adam, Jackson and Kyles former metal act Acrylecy and Jackson's side cover band with Alex, both bands merged with the departure of Alex Fick from Acrylecy to metal masterminds Abolition. From this the original four peice line-up was formed with the intention of combining everyones influence equally to create a sonic noise punk band with an intense show. since the formation of Elias our dear friend/promoter/love slave Ben Andress had helped us immensely with recordings, booking shows and showed endless support even though our instrument destruction sometime costs him already hard to get venues for his sweet shows. After a slew of chaotic summer shows with friends Smile Case, AWWA, Pardon My Goat, Dear Jane I, Chaliss, dd/mm/yyyy, and The Unloved, it was agreed a a lead singer was needed. Del Schott was added to the roster and made his debut Oct. 1st 2005 at the AWWA/Something Fatal tour kick off in fine style. Our debut Ep Greatest Hits Gold came out Feb 24th 2006 On Blacktop Recordings, buy it at our next show. One year, one month and 4 days later our dear friend and bassist Adam Mulder had decided that Nov 4th would be his last show with Elias. That had left us in quite the situation, bassless in the middle of recording our second album, not knowing what to do we asked an old highschool friend and great musician Kyle Dedrick to play bass for us and he agreed to do it until we find a full time bass player. Now back on track we are currently finishing up our LP at dungeon studios and waiting to pick a release date sometime spring 2007.
