I was born on December 6, 1986 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Raised by a single mother and moving constantly to different metro area locations, at a youing agae I found my comfort in listening to and creating my own music. After a string of events including a shootout on the frontlawn of a trailor park we had been staying at, I was adopted by my grandparents at age 8, and found a steady home in the suburb of Piedmont, just north of Oklahoma City. Through the following years I continued experimenting with different genres, and found rap as my true talent and passion. At age 15 I found myself in and out of trouble with the police, and the problems extended on through the next 4 years of my life. At 16, I dropped out of high school and shortly after moved out and began slowly descending into a life of theft, drugs, and fights, and for a while left the music behind me. When my grandfather passed away, it only made things worse. But on May 2, 2006, a miracle happened: my daughter, Chloe Lyndsay Hall, came into this world, and with her came a fire within me to make something of myself and give her all she needed. I worked harder on my music than ever, and devoted my life to change, and one day not far from now, you will see Chris Hall, aka Sould, on top of the game. | |
