Q: What equipment do you use? A: If i were to write all of ym equipment we'd be here for weeks, i use a NikonD60 body with a variety of lenses and flashes. Q: How much do you charge for photoshoots? A: I charge around £10 for a CD of photo's. It's a very fair amount considering regular prices- if you won't pay me, then don't bother asking for my services please. Q: Do you use photoshop? A: Yes i do, however i avoid it where i can - editing is becoming a big part in photography and i need to learn how to use it in the right way before i start publicising edited photographs. Q: Do you sell any of your photographs? A: As of now I'm not at a stage where i can sell my photographs as images for your wall (for example), but I'm working towards it. Q: Are you going to persue a career in photography? A: Most definitely. I plan on doing an A-Level course in photo-journalism when i complete my current English course, and hopefully take it from there. Q: What camera would you advise a beginner to purchase? A: The Nikon D40 was fantastic for me - it's great to learn with and get to grips with picture taking. Alternatively there's a Canon EOS400D (i think) which is more or less the same camera on a different brand. if you've already had an SLR camera, i advise sticking to the brand of camera you already have. Q: Does your camera ever leave your side? A: Extremely rarely. I hate thinking "I wish i had a camera right now", so i try and avoid it. |
