Sounds Like: "…HFTC don't fit in anywhere within these boundries. Mixing influences from Tool to early Manic Street Preachers, 'Anamnesis' is - if not completely new - something different in our local scene. Its shows that if you're doing something well, everyone will take you seriously."

- Matt Challis reviews 'Anamnesis', 2007

"Only heard about them 2 days ago from my sister but they are shit hot and must be exposed to the wider world. If you don't listen to Anamnesis and fall in love with them then you don't have ears so why are you listening to music?"

- a new fan, 2005

"I'm just gonna go straight for the throat and say that I had no idea a rock band could be so atmospheric - that's what they begin as… The songs are long at first but pretty captivating. Second song in was a Cure cover (but you'd never have guessed). After that the band just seemed to show what makes them special; This was a progressive dream world, a fantastic sweeping guitar sound mixed with rock playing something different, one of the more original acts around. Dual vocals helped too, the singer-guitarist doing most while the bassist sounded like an angel; she wasn't just a backing vocalist. Towards the end the songs got harder and faster, keeping things going, and the last song was the best, switching between well-paced rock (Memory As Affliction) and moments of solitude (Stone). Fantastic!"
