Thank you for visiting the MySpace profile for Payback Is A Bitch, And Then You Die. I'm Renee Alexander, author/ analyst of celebrity crimes and indiscretions. I have been referred to as a controversial author for being known as a Reputation Gravedigger——a researcher who makes it my business to expose the sextracurricular activities of celebrities. I have also been referred to as a well-respected author, mainly due to the thoroughness of my research but also because I tell it like it is. I don't have time to publish politically correct garbage for the sake of appealing to the masses. There's enough junk out there. But if you are looking for an author who writes controversial, interesting, intelligent and timely stories that anyone can relate to, I'm your gal. I've earned degrees in Mental Health Studies, Liberal Arts, General Business and Computer Information Systems. I'm currently working toward an advanced degree in Human Studies. I'm a self-appointed social awareness advocate, meaning that I strive to understand people and the power relationships in our society. And most importantly, I strive to enlighten others. I divide my time between Washington, DC (Politiciantown), and Los Angeles, California (Hollyweirdtown). I have been tracking political transgressions and entertainment industry woes since 1985. The information that I've gathered from my celebrity research has led me to a single conclusion: WE'VE ALL GOT ISSUES. Famous folks have weird quirks, dark secrets and personal problems just like everyone else. The only difference is that their business shines in the spotlight 24/7. After publishing numerous short stories (and a ton of newspaper editorials blasting topics from racism to global warming), I began penning a true-to-life novel based on 15 years of celebrity research. The church corruption, the adulterous affairs, the domestic abuse, the illegitimate children, the DL brothers and the deviant politicians have all been brought to life in 13 unique, but interconnected, short stories. Written in true-to-life fashion, the book's scenarios delve into the sexual and psychological motivations behind celebrity crimes and indiscretions. The novel takes a look at the pre-celebrity lives of the folks we love to gossip about, and seeks to explain the "why" behind the "oh no he didn't". The book exposes and clarifies in graphic detail celebrities' troubled childhoods, their teen and young adult years, including their twisted parents, insincere marriages, warped religious beliefs and sexual paraphilias. Rest assured that I've taken great pains to verify the accuracy of the stories that are retold in the novel. I’ve also made certain that the sensitive subject matter will be digestible by combining tact, humor and wit to soften the blow of these otherwise 'disturbing' issues. Let it be known: THE POWERS THAT BE have attempted to block this novel from publication. I have been dealing with lawsuits, threats of lawsuits and the court system for the past three years. As a result, I have chosen to shelter my identity until the controversy surrounding Payback Is A Bitch, And Then You Die has subsided. Nevertheless, I am a firm believer in the freedom of speech and I will NOT be shushed. Fans have a right to understand the real person behind the celebrity they support, and fans have a need to understand the reasons WHY celebrities are not perfect.
