Growing up I didn’t give much thought to being an adult, or what job I would have some day. I dreamed a lot, hiked, played, and could lose myself in a piece of paper if given any short of implement to draw with. All I knew is what I ever I did as an adult, I had to be able to be creative, didn’t ever want to wear a tie, hopefully would be able to feel the sun on my skin, and have a camaraderie with those I worked with. Now that I am an adult I am a very similar person to who I was back then. The major difference is, unlike when I was young, my goals for the rest of my life are more firmly planted. I know now that I am the one who owns my life. I am the only one to blame if things don’t work out. ==== |
