| La BLUES POWER Band, è un gruppo storico dell'area Dauna,
nato dall'iniziativa di Franco Lauriola e Nik Picucci co-fondatore,
nel lontano 1991.
A partire da quell’anno il gruppo comincia a dare spettacolo in
giro per diverse regioni, Puglia, Campania, Molise, Abruzzo e
Basilicata forte di una caratteristica carica adrenalinica distruttiva,
che coinvolge tutti e piace a ogni palato.
Intorno al nucleo storico della band ruoteranno negli anni a seguire
vari artisti di diverse estrazioni e gusti musicali, provenienti
da diverse esperienze sia live che in studio, Nicola Iocola (Drum),
Franco Signorile (Hammond), Antonio Sereno (Drum), Francesco
Cocco (Piano), Domenico Cocco (Bass), Michele Travaglio (Keyboard),
Salvatore Sorbo (Bass), Antonio Muggeo (Sax), e prende via un progetto musicale in ambito Blues aperto a contaminazioni Jazz, Funky e Country.
Il nome BLUES POWER Band, fu coniato per indicare la volontà
della formazione di esplorare attraverso suoni originali e spazi
innovativi un genere con un forte impatto ed entrare dritti dritti
al cuore.
