Ever since he was young, he was passionate about music and overwhelmed by its power – the power to make people happy, sad, ecstatic, or even drive them into a state of trance. In his quest for great music, he steadily searched for new and unique tunes and enjoyed playing the newly discovered gems to his friends. As his music collection continued to grow larger on a daily basis, he became infatuated with an idea of being a DJ. Being influenced by many genres of music, he picked Trance as his flagship genre. Fast forward to today. DJ SIM7 has a steady and growing audience of fans and supporters all over the world. In his constantly evolving studio, he continues programming and recording his signature United In Trance™ and Ibiza Dreaming™ podcasts, while also collaborating with other DJs and producers on projects, as well as working on production of his own tracks, re-edits, remixes, and mashups. With over 200 subscribers in its first month, SIM7 ‘s signature United In Trance™ podcast continues to receive a massive worldwide support and is currently being enjoyed by over 10,000 subscribers from over 42 countries. United In Trance™ podcast is designed to showcase the full spectrum of the best trance music, featuring some of the hottest and euphoric trance tunes and anthems from the well known to the yet undiscovered talents of the worldwide trance scene. Partly a perfectionist who is satisfied only when the mix sounds exactly the way it’s supposed to sound and nothing less, SIM7 is also partly a DJ who loves to be spontaneous and make the audiences say “Wow, I did not see that coming.” He tries to look past the DJ, to be not only a DJ, but also a visionary. To him creating great memories of a live event or a mix set is the most important thing about DJing. Simply put, DJ SIM7 is not satisfied until there are goose bumps on the skins of the audience members or their hands are up in the air! True to his statements, his mixes are spontaneous and exciting, and at times hard to categorize as "trance by the book," which is exactly his sole mission, because he wants to stretch the limits of a Trance DJ, mixing Trance sub-genres into harmonic mix sets that create a journey. In his sets, he may just as easily play a Progressive, Epic/Melodic, Vocal/Uplifting, or a Tech Trance record, which played at the right time, sets off the energy built up by the audience, making them go wild with excitement, and that is one of the things that make his sets memorable. |
