FROM THE IMDB: Under James Gunn Troma was an inclusive community building entity that brought Troma back to center with great art and great personalities. Then James Gunn left and Gabe Friedman took over more or less. Troma has suddenly regressed to its schlock frat boy sensibilities. Gabe has Lloyd's ear. He's an elitist. He hates feedback. He won't let anyone help him other than buttkissers. He's exclusive rather than inclusive. He's editing is overly stylized and I'm tired of that stupid split screen thing he does. It worked ONCE during the awful Terror Firmer. Now they are making a zombie chicken film, Gabe's opus, ugh. Gabe probably hopes to replace Lloyd when Lloyd eventually dies of old age. Too bad he ruined Troma before he can enjoy the fruits of his singular pursuit. Under Gabe Friedman Troma is now an exclusive clique that atomizes community on site and has turned Troma films into fridge (fridge? That's what he wrote) soft porn.
