| I lived in Flint Michigan most of my life after moving there from Norfolk, Va as a young child. 2nd home ha always been Detroit b/c of my relatives there and hangin w/my sister Friday thru Monday on the party scene back in tha day, we used to live it up VIP style... Had wonderful parents/grandparents who raised me to be the loving/caring person I am today, "I am blessed". I used to work & model for some local agencies in the Flint area, Cynthianna's, Avante and Sepia Model Inc of Chicago, Jacobsons of Saginaw, Kevin Edmonds . Group-Flint, B. Michael designer, did a lot of commercial print for the local newspaper and several magazines in the Detroit area aside from some contest/competitions/pageant type stuff, other than that life has been great along w/raising my 8yr old daughter here in Indianapolis, IN now. We love it here and are enjoying learning our way around Nap-Town. I miss my friends back home and around the world where I've met a lot of people, they usually come to visit during Black Expo/Circle City Classics weekend, we get our party on around that time, besides hanging here in Indy, I love Toronto, Caribana Festival is lovely. If I ever hit the lotto, yall can come visit me in Toronto during the Summer for sure! lol | |

I'd like to meet:Dang, I've met a gang of folks in my lifetime. I still have room for others. Wish I could have met my great grandmother on my mom's side, she was a twin, and my great grandfather on my dad's side-his photos showed he had so much swagger as my dad did when he was alive. I do wish I could have met Rosa Parks, I love my elders, you can learn a lot from them without our elders/ancestors who would we learn from? I would have also like to have met Alvin Ailey, the teacher of modern dance, loved to watch his performance group w/Judith Jamison, she's the absolute best...Maya Angelou, Patti Labelle, Ruby Dee, Iman, Beverly Johnson, Allen Payne, Tyler Perry, Mario Van Peebles, Joe Sample, Sting, etc...there are a boat load of folks. lol |
