A military research centre, location and purpose unknown: scientist Keyop-503 creates Fembot-S4FF for use as a spy droid by Vocoder Joe. Devised as a military weapon but given too much intelligence, Vocoder Joe plans and executes a daring escape from the centre with the fembot and scientist. After constructing their own secret laboratory on the fringes of time and space, Keyop-503 once again uses his engineering talents to create Personalotron-9000; the world's first multi-purpose, multi-synthetic personality droid. Our four heroes have now taken it as their chosen duty to save the world from the evil machinations of their military creators, harbouring under secret identities ...as four musicians in their twenties with an unhealthy lust for sci-fi. Following their many adventures delivering sonic joy to their fan-bots up and down the UK, The V.Cs set off on a new mission - to track down exactly where Specimen-11010's transmission came from and save their missing comrade!
