| The Suffwaissii are a London & Darlington-based collective trying to bring their bass to the ears of the masses. Not in it for the money. Not in it for the downloads... Firstly, we would just like to thank everyone for your support, sweet words, advice, comments and criticism since we have been a part of the Myspace family. Our purpose here is to get our music into the ears of the masses. You don't have to add us, you don't have to tell your friends or pimp us out to the Myspace world, all we ask is that you find time to play your way through our tracks and give them a fair listen. What else would we like? Well... If you enjoy our sounds then add us to your page and send us a little message to let us know. We run and operate this page ourselves and check in about 5 times a day, so your message will not be ignored or go unnoticed xxx We will even send you a little hug, or perhaps a smiley face to say 'thank you xxx We are not looking for any sort of record deal or sign up of any kind, but we are getting a lot of queries from Myspace friends who want to know where they can download our full catalogue, so if you are a musician and know a friendly, reliable online distributor who isn't interested in just stripping the public of as much cash as possible then please let us know. Experience and word of mouth is far more important than the various website reviews we have come across The Suffwaissii have been sample free since 1998, but we still occasionally mess around with other artists work from time to time, so look out for our new Myspace page entitled 'The Suffwaissii Mash' coming soon The Suffwaissii formed in Newcastle in 1988, and have a performance history dating back to 1991 when we moved south, and for 3 months we were almost famous in Slough. We disbanded in 93, and reformed in 96 fully armed with Ataris instead of guitars. Produced heavily up until 1999, and all material will soon be available through free download from our forthcoming website. Due to domestic commitments we quit as a performance group in 99, however continued to work closely in the domestic studio environment before relaunching as a 3-piece last year. Now rebuilding our portfolio, content with no longer needing a record deal to push our wares Currently working on material for our new album 'Ambiente Royale', and over the next 6 months we will be putting up each track as and when the final production work is finished One Three Two Strangely this started out with a bit of a disco twist to it, but we just kept winding it down again and again until it dragged us into a very warm and cosy little place xxx Happy Daze Ahead Be Bold ft Divinity Rose New Tune... Created for Gordon Mac Photography for his upcoming exhibition entitled 'Be Bold'. What we have here is the 7 minute edit featuring the vocal talents of Divinity Rose, the full length version of 26 minutes would obviously break the little player on our page, so we will leave it to your imagination. 'The Suffwaissii sent you' Song For Mimi (edit) Created for the brain of our beloved Mimi when she was going through some tough times, designed to creep smoothly into your head and wash away the day More Hanze One from the old days. Our first completely PC constructed track constructed using a mixture of various free soft synths, Cool Edit, Rebirth and the ever lovely Cubase. Also notable as our first sample-free track Class DB Built by accident back in the summer of 1998 from the remnants of other tunes, and the bits and pieces we created, were unable to use, but just could not dare to get rid of. This little tune soon took on a life of its own. Loud and proud, it always makes us smile Izzy Easy Our own personal favourite from days gone by, although just to keep things interesting we are currently ripping this little tune apart and rebuilding it using Reason v4... Turning out to be a tricky project because someone ate all of our midi files a long time ago, but what the Hell, if it was easy we would not be getting excited about it all over again And finally...
