| Where shall I start...well, my family (on my dad's side) are originally from Thetford, Norfolk, England. I think there are, probably, still some of us in Thetford. For the most part, they are in the south of England, near London. I have some relatives (my dad's side again) in the French Alps and some in South Africa. My dad came over to Canada just after WW1 and settled here in British Columbia. He met my mom after WW2 and they eventually married...good thing for me.My mom's side are from Picton, Ontario (my grand parents, on my mom side, were also from England) and moved here prior to WW2. Anyway I was eventually born on November 4, 1962 in New Westminster. What a cool time to be growing up...The Beatles, WoW (mini skirts). I've been a Beatles nut from day one.When I'm not at work, I enjoy writing poetry and prose and from time to time, I will probably post one. I have also been a lyricist, since 1993 when I began writing songs and laying down demo tracks in the studio. I have just begun to seriously look for work on song writing projects with other artists. It took me this long to actually become serious about writing.If you are interested in co-writing, or you are a serious musician but don't think you have the gift for lyrics, I am always open for considerations. I welcome all comments and constructive criticisms. But please...be gentle, I am an artist. Thank you for visiting my website." |
