| Free Peoples is a Americana/Rock/Jazz hybrid direct from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their music conjures up images of the wild west, but will take you on a journey to Mars and back before depositing you safely back by your campfire. Through intricate melodies and delicate three part harmonies, they offer up a synthesis of both the old and the new, incorporating styles as diverse as the many paths we all travel. With Free Peoples, musical horizons are ever-expanding.
2005 & 2006 have seen Free Peoples performing farther and wider still, with tours encompassing CA, NV, OR, WA, UT, ID, CO, WY, KS, TX, MS, and NM - including jaw-dropping sets at both the High Sierra Music Festival and Burning Man - and a victory in the 2005 Relix Magazine Jam-Off! With an increasing online prescence, Free Peoples is steadily becoming a band of extreme note, through exceptional song-writing, mindblowing guitar leads, and the highest levels of musicianship and emotion rarely found in today's popular music.
