I'm from Newcastle, AUSTRALIA and work two jobs, one as a Community Worker and the other as a Retail - Customer Service Assistant. I love music, involving myself in events and projects within the community and making a difference in small ways. I'm a big supporter of local music, particularly original and help promote where I can with info on Music industry/related events. Previously have worked with: * Performing Arts Newcastle * Alternatives to Violence Project - Facilitator * Worked with The Shootout film festival 06 & 07(www.theshootout.com.au,http://theshootout.info/newcastle/ ) * The Maritime Festival 'SWIG' 06 organised performers * Coordinated The Boardwalk Sessions 28th & 29th October & the HIP HOP workshop at A Major Music Expo 2006 & coordinated the 'Expose Yourself' band comp 2005: www.newcastlemusicweek.com.au * Other Projects i have worked for: Gigtxt (www.gigtxt.com.au)The loft Youth Venue, Newcastle Youth Council, 351 (triligy project:www.true-l.com), cultural stomp (www.octapod.org)and of course Newcastle Music Week (www.newcastlemusicweek.com), Support Act Limited, Dogbite festival, 2NUR FM "LOUD" program, Newcastle Youth Council, Local Anaesthetic and many other projects. |
