I-MILITANT SOUND SYSTEM born from the union of two active elements previously in the old experience in HardiCore Sound System, among the first sound to play Roots and Dub in Salento (Puglia-south-Italy), a land where known predominates always been the bashment and dance-hall style. From years Natty Milh and Sister Reddub advancing in their awareness of what the music, specifically reggae, is a crucial factor in the growth of a free social conscience. By supporting the sound system culture, given means of expression and people unity, I-MILITANT promotes spreading the message of justice, equality and rebellion against all oppressions and prohibitionisms through spirituality and great communication ability of the Reggae Roots & Dub; some time is running out collaborations with the biggest names in roots international landscape as Jah Shaka, Vibronics, Channel One, Iration Steppas, Cultural Warriors, Mad Professor, Alpha & Omega, the Disciples, Sandeeno and Kenny Knots, which gave the green light to its work with the new selfmade sound system in April 2007. In September of that year, I-MILITANT involved as resident sound to the first edition of "DUB IT!-The Italian Academy Dub", the first Italian dub Festival held in Salento, who saw together with other important names of the scene roots - dub. The selections of I-MILITANT ranging from roots reggae classics to more recent UK-dub productions, combined with exclusive dubplates and its productions, all enhanced by the warm voice of NattyMilh and the irreplaceable use of effects and sirens, inna pure Warrior dubwise style! ...NAH GIVE UP THE FIGHT!!! GUIDANCE! I-MILITANT I-MILITANT SOUND SYSTEM nasce dall’unione di due elementi attivi precedentemente nella vecchia esperienza in HardiCore Sound System, tra i primi sound a suonare Roots e Dub nel Salento, una terra dove notoriamente predomina da sempre il bashment e il dance-hall style. Da anni Natty Milh e Sister Reddub promuovono nella loro terra la consapevolezza di quanto la musica, e più precisamente il reggae, sia un elemento fondamentale per la crescita di una coscienza sociale libera. Sostenendo la cultura del sound system, considerato un mezzo di espressione e di unità della gente, I-MILITANT promuove la diffusione del messaggio di giustizia, uguaglianza e di ribellione contro tutte le oppressioni e i proibizionismi attraverso la spiritualità e la grande capacità comunicativa che il Reggae Roots & Dub racchiude in sé; da diverso tempo stringe collaborazioni con i più grandi nomi del panorama roots internazionale come Jah Shaka, Vibronics, Channel One, Iration Steppas, Cultural Warriors, Mad Professor, Alpha&Omega, the Disciples, Sandeeno nonché Kenny Knots, con il quale ha dato il via alla propria attività con il nuovo sound system autocostruito, nell’aprile del 2007. Nel settembre dello stesso anno, I-MILITANT partecipa come resident sound alla prima edizione del “DUB IT!-the Italian Dub Academy”, primo festival del dub italiano svoltosi nel Salento, che lo ha visto protagonista insieme ad altri importanti nomi della scena roots-dub nazionale. Le selezioni di I-MILITANT spaziano dai classici del reggae roots alle produzioni più recenti UK-dub, unite a dubplates esclusivi ed alle proprie produzioni, il tutto potenziato dalla calda voce di NattyMilh e dall’insostituibile utilizzo di effetti e sirene, in puro dubwise warrior style! ...NAH GIVE UP THE FIGHT!!!
