The CD highlights expert playing by Tom and the band who have studied older styles made famous by the Italian’s Eddie Lang (Paul Whiteman Orchestra), Nick Lucas and the famous Hawaiian lap steel player Sol Hoopii and Bennie Nawahi . The CD is rich with mandolins, lap steel guitar, ukuleles, acoustic stand up bass, banjo, mandocello, mandola and of course guitars. As a child Tom (who is Italian) learned traditional songs from his Sicilian grandfather and brings an authentic style to everything he plays. He currently can be heard on 4 of the amazing Janet Klein and Her Parlor Boys 5 CDs playing guitar, mandolin and banjo.
