It was a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful band. I still think we rocked and our music was awesome (and I mean that in a completely humble way)... so I would like all of the work we've done over the years to remain viewable to those who were loyal fans, and for those who had never had the chance to hear our music. And to those loyal fans I would like to say: Thank you so much for all of your encouragement, compliments, and the support you have shown us over the years. I truley, and sincerely appreciate it...from the bottom of my metal heart. lol. And as for my singing, I am taking a small reprieve to take care of some important things in my life that I have previously neglected. But rest assured, I am determined to sing and perform again as soon as I can. So with that in mind, if there are any talented metal bands out there who are currently looking for a singer, do not hesitate to contact me. Checking out The Heliand's myspace will give you a good idea of my vocal range, tone, and capabilities. However, I'm not limited to only power vocals. I am also capable of doing growls and screams for heavier music as well. My Daddy and I were like best friends. I could tell him anything, more than I could with some of my closest friends. We had our own business together (Aquarium and Pond Maintenence) that allowed us to bond as much as a father and daughter should. He taught me so much in the limited time he was granted on earth; he sculpted me into the person I am today. I couldn't have asked God for a better Father, I had the best one in existance. I will never be the same now that he is gone. There is an immense void in my soul that will never be filled again. Though I will always grieve his absence on earth, I know he is an angel in heaven watching over me. I will be greeted by his loving embrace when my time on earth is done. I love you Daddy. As you once sang with me while we drove in your old Toyota pickup, "I'll see you on the other side..." This is my absolute favorite picture of my Father and I. No doubt about it, I'll always be my Daddy's girl. This is why long hair rules... everyone and their dog need to grow out their hair. DO IT |
