| Once a band rose from the depths of the south named Dead Will Rise. They rocked and reigned in the '99 Mobile scene. In 2004 one member decided to go his separate way. He then taught his musically illiterate wife and her musically illiterate friend to play instruments. Temporary insanity took him over, as he was used to only playing with very talented individuals, his only consolation and comfort was found in writing songs from the depths of his southern gospel soul. Thus was born the Wretched. Thankfully, only a few stadium shows and rock operas later, due to advances in internet technology they were informed that the Wretched was already a band, not only with an incredible name but they were rockin out some crazy metal. Wanting to stick to the same theme and not wanting to turn away their thousands of screaming fans, The Wretched resigned their stolen name and became Wretch Like Me. More shows were played more hearts were won until to their dismay Caleb from Boot to Head informed them that once again their name was taken. They searched the depths of their minds, probing their innermost beings, weeks went by as they scribbled stupid band names on random scraps of paper, after much thought and collectively wanting empires to fall they came up with FALL EMpiRE FALL. They then decided stadiums were much too corporate (which is why you won't see playing the superbowl halftime show this year) and their thousands of screaming fans turned into a drummer and a singer/spouse for Katie. They all liked eachother so much that they moved into a big house in Tampa with a few other random guys. You can often find them practicing too loud, making neighbors mad, and deep frying everything. If anyone wants to visit Tampa, is interested in knowing what empire they'd like to fall, likes fried food or black beans and rice, loves Jesus, hates Jesus, wants to study the bible, wants to sit and chat, or is interested in what they do give them a shout out because they would love to talk to you. | |
