What do you mean?" you wail, as you gnash your teeth and rend your garment. "Where will I find well-written and informed articles about whatever you guys find irritating and stupid and/or delightful and entertaining in the world of music and pop culture? If you leave, I will have to turn to poorly written blogs and 'alt weeklies' and get a trendy, bad haircut, and I'll start saying things like, 'amazing local indie duo,' and people will think I'm a tool! I will be a tool!" First, calm down. No one wants you to be a tool with a trendy, bad haircut, least of all us. Second, we'll be back in February of 2008 with a fresh, minty, perhaps erotically stimulating, new look. Content will be organized in a "magazine format" instead of the despised "blog look." As Webmaster Tom Willis says, there will be "new shit." Details on all of the nouveau merde when we re-open. You're on your own until then, try not to do anything stupid. If you requested to be our friend and we didn't accept your request, it could be due to several factors, one of the chief ones being that you write really bad poetry. Television:Television is evil, except for cartoons. Well, some cartoons. And cooking shows. Cooking shows, for the most part, are OK, as are some shows that feature animals...except for those with marmosets. We hate marmosets. Marmosets destroyed our father's village.Mystery Science Theater 3000 and The Flight of The Conchords are the finest shows ever to be broadcast on the infernal machine. |
