Eli recently completed one year of touring with Inventos: Hip Hop Cubano nationally and internationally, holding screenings in theaters, community centers, universities, high schools, and group homes. The Inventos Sankofa Tour will launch this July in Columbia, making its way to Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and other islands in the Caribbean. With your support, we will be able to travel in order to donate much needed equipment and resources to artists who inspire and uplift the international Hip Hop community. Global Hip Hop is often faced with the challenge of having to create without proper technological tools and media resources. The Inventos Sankofa Tour hopes to mobilize our communities€™ outstanding network of audiences, aficionados, and supporters to donate the tools and equipment needed to keep the spirit of perseverance, innovation, and free flowing creativity alive in Hip Hop communities worldwide. Individuals and organizations have signed on to this effort, but your support is needed to make this a reality! CALL FOR DONATIONS We are asking you to contribute in any way you can. The list below is in order of importance for having the most resounding impact. We need: 1. Financial donations to make the trip a reality, as well as to purchase what does not get donated (see list below). 2. Computer laptops (PC Pentium 2 or higher). These will be equipped with the latest music software 3. CD turn tables (since around 95% of the DJing in these communities is from CD to CD, it would be great to get them CDJ's so they will be able to scratch and mix and create there own new style). 4.
