JUNK FUNK is a hard hittin, semi-improv percussion group, combining real percussion instruments with junk items like buckets, pans, bottles, anything that we can get our hands on. We are all obsessed with drumming, so the group was created for us to explore and perform that obsession for you. The group is very high energy, and always keeps things fresh with the music and entertianment factor.Ryan Hoagland is the founder of the group, and created it because he has a lot of other drumming friends, and wanted to create a group where he could hang out and perform with them, and put on a great professional show for the audience!The current JUNK FUNK group is made up of the musical talents of:
Dave Leatherman
Dave Tiede
Chris Richardson
Ryan HoaglandWe are local to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and willing to perform anywhere around Eastern Iowa, the Midwest, and beyond.Here is what we can offer:
-JUNK FUNK group performance
-Ryan Hoagland solo performance, if your venue or function is a little smaller. Also helps if you are on a limited budget.
-JUNK FUNK interactive performance / workshop for all ages.
-Ryan Hoagland solo performance / workshop for all ages.
-Theatrical performance for your dance class, recital, anything you can think of. Group or Ryan solo.
