O Soundsystem YouthCulture , oriundo de Leça da Palmeira, nasceu há uma data de anos atrás pelas mãos de Romano e Ratus, quando a palavra de ordem era essencialmente "Diversão". Actualmente, contando ainda com a presença de um novo elemento (João "Sunfun"), regista já actuações um pouco por todo território nacional, de destacar Hardclub (com HORACE ANDY, DAWN PENN e PONTO DE EQUILIBRIO), Industria (com POW POW MOVEMENT, DAVID RODIGAN, JAHCOUSTIX, DIGITAL DUBS e a TROJAN CREW), Mosteiro São Bento da Vitória (com NATIRUTS, DUB INCORPORATION e SATIVA), Vilar de Mouros, Redbull Music Academy soundclash, Teatro Sá da Bandeira (com ISRAEL VIBRATION e DON CARLOS), Mare Alta (com KING TUBBY'S sound), Twins, Bazaar, Mares do Aterro, Ibla, Contagiarte, Garage, Long Beach, Abox, Box Club, Caffe Del Rio, Cinema Batalha, entre muitos outros. Baseado essencialmente em todo o tipo sonoriedades e ritmos jamaicanos, e munidos de uma boa disposição contagiante, é ainda hoje dificil prever onde terá fim cada uma das suas actuações. Foi e será desde sempre imprescindivel o apoio prestado pelo massivo e varios amigos. Impossivel nomear todos eles, fica desde ja um muito obrigado a todos os restantes elementos de Souls of Fire, Sativa, Hotsteppers, Portaldoreggae, Riddim Culture, Malaka, Ras B, Positive Vibes, Upfull Sound, Ticaca, Rasheed, Nubai, Eclectic Collective, Cação, Human Chalice, Jayh, Nheco, Primeira Linha e todos os restantes que sempre estiveram lá. Jah Guia BOOKING: Pedro Barbosa 932256711 Youth Culture sound system rised up on the streets of Leça da Palmeira (Portugal) a couple of years ago by the hands of "Roman Boy" and "Rahtushfari", to whom "Fun" and "education" were the most important fields to cover. Nowadays, they have seen their soundsystem being reenforced by the arrival of a new crew member: selecta João "Sunfun", and together they have been heard all around our national soil. Some of these appearences even worthy of mentioning like: Hardclub (opening for HORACE ANDY, DAWN PENN and PONTO DE EQUILIBRIO), Industria (backing up for POW POW MOVEMENT, DAVID RODIGAN, JAHCOUSTIX, DIGITAL DUBS and the TROJAN CREW), Mosteiro São Bento da Vitória (with NATIRUTS, DUB INCORPORATION and SATIVA), Vilar de Mouros, Redbull Music Academy soundclash, Teatro Sá da Bandeira (opening for ISRAEL VIBRATION and later on DON CARLOS), Mare Alta (with KING TUBBY'S sound), Twins, Bazaar, Mares do Aterro, Ibla, Contagiarte, Garage, Long Beach, Abox, Box Club, Caffe Del Rio, Cinema Batalha, and many more. Their main course is essencially based on all kinds of jamaican culture and sonorities, mixing it up with an undisputable and extremelly contagious feeling of happiness and well being, still for some hard to know exactly when and how each show is going to end.
