| Modern Alchemy is a "record label", "owned" and "operated" by Kelly Aiken, with the help from Nick Merz.
MA001 - Beestings "Where It Goes" LP/CD - 11 songs of NW indie perfection. CD is a Digipak of all recycled materials, LP is 200 white vinyl 12"s with hand-screened covers and inserts. AVAILABLE. MA002 - Shook Ones/Easel Split 7" EP - 2 new joints and a Sicko cover by Shook Ones, 3 new rippers from Easel. Vinyl version of the split CD available from Alliance Trax. One time pressing - 250 on yellow (available only from MA/Shook Ones) and 250 on blue (available only from AT/Easel), all with hand-screened covers. OUT OF PRINT [NOT GOING TO BE REPRESSED]. MA002.5 - Easel "Self Titled" 7" EP - Not actually a MA release, merely a distribution of the Alliance Trax release. 4 songs of Japanese pop-punk/hardcore hybridedness, including an acoustic version of a song from the Shook Ones split. 200 on black, 100 on red, 100 on gold, 100 on clear. AVAILABLE [RUNNING LOW]. MA003 - Matryrs of the Apollo Guild "The Destruction of the Apollo Guild at the Hands of the Wolfpack" CD EP - 6 songs of epic-ass rock/indie in the vein of At the Drive-In, with hints of Fugazi and the Murder City Devils. Less about the indie, more about the rock. [OUT OF PRINT]. MA004 - Brownes Condition "Release The Dogs" CD - Current and former members of Shook Ones and Typical Ace. Debut full-length, filled with dynamic guitar riffery, mighty vocals, and just enough hookage to keep you wanting more. COMING MARCH 09. MA005- Crossfox "Crossfox" CD- Powerhouse rock quartet dishes out some of the most solid rock music Washington State has to offer.
