The artist Mc.Honert (Holger Kleinert), born in 1968, lives in Ober-Moerlen near Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and since the year 2000 he used up himself the Chillout-Music. Its past compositions show however a further musical spectrum, which also goes into the spheres of Berlin School, Ambient or Lounge. Mc.Honert works predominantly with Software-Synthesizers, he is a guitarist in the context of its possibilities as a "non-musician", as he calls himself. His musical ideals are Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Kitaro, Klaus Schulze and Mike Oldfield. He derives his artist name from his characteristic and from his civil name: The "MC" stand for "Mega-Chaot" and "HONERT" stand for HOlger kleiNERT. If Mc.Honert calls itself as a Mega-Chaot, then it nevertheless probably makes a very harmonious and arranged Chillout-Music. Der Künstler Mc.Honert (Holger Kleinert), Jahrgang 1968, lebt in Ober-Mörlen bei Frankfurt/Main (BRD) und hat sich seit dem Jahre 2000 der Chillout-Musik verschrieben. Seine bisherigen Kompositionen zeigen allerdings ein weiteres musikalisches Spektrum, das auch gerne bis in die Sphären von Berliner Schule, Ambient oder Lounge vorstößt. Er arbeitet überwiegend mit Software-Synthesizern, ist aber auch Gitarrist im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten als „Nicht-Musiker“, wie er sich selbst sehr Bescheiden bezeichnet.
