DECRETO 77 started their activity in 2003, in Almada, Portugal. Lots and lots of problems and bad luck marked the story of the band so far. But they are here, and they're here to stay. Influenced by all punk-rock and good HxC, from the old to the new, agressive and melodic, funny or more serious, the motto of the band is "open hearts and open minds", and we exactly do that. So far, we played with many bands, in many places, different styles and ideals, from punk to hc, ska to metal, straighedge and drunks, but never betraying ourr beliefs and own ideals and thoughts, and never followed fashions nor trendy winds. Fighting against complancency, fighting against injustice, prejudice and division, pointing fingers on the right directions and having fun at the same time. Because you can be serious and funny at the same time. Because you can be intelligent and still an easy going kid at the same time. Because you're free to do whatever you want, to think for yourself. Because being yourself without thinking of what others will say or think about it is the best you can do. Keep fighting for peace, for unity (true unity), for a better world, for having fun and being dumb but with eyes, minds and hearts well open. No cliché, just purity.
