UPDATED May 12th 2008

In 1982 I started writing fanzines and also run a Record/Tape Distro called D.I.Y. Distribution and this continued right through to the early 90's. Street Voice came about in 1995 as a printed newsletter which was given out at various shows and Mail Order outlets. This covered both music and politics and still does to this day. Around 1999 I decided to release it as a E-Newsletter and it still goes out on a monthly basis in this form to around 45000 people around the globe.

Musically I've featured Punk, HC, Thrash, Metal, Folk, Indie and Power Pop Artists/Bands. I will continue to tread this path as there's still so many great artists/bands out there needing to be heard.

PR Agents I work with include Divsion, Goldstar, Hero and Great Quite.

Labels I work with include include Anti Culture, Bomp, Cherry Red, Do The Dog, JSNTGM, Measured, One Little Indian, SOS, Vagrant and Victory.

Artists/Bands I've Interviewed/Reviewed include The Angelic Upstarts, Angie Bowie, Bayside, The Beautiful South, Bif Naked, Conflict, Deadline, Disco Ensemble, Flogging Molly, The Hedrons, Goodbye Gadget, Joan Jett, Juliette And The Licks, The Levellers, The Love Me Nots, McQueen, Pama International, Sick56, Silverstein, Terrorvision and Toxic Reasons

In the last two and a half years I have interviewed/Reviewed over 11000 Artists/Bands for FFRUK an Independent Label and Webzine based in the UK. Previous to that I have also written/reviewed/interviewed bands/labels for Girl Punk Net , Hardcore Street Sounds and Punk Globe .

The mailing list stands at around 45000 people around the globe. Regular Bulletins/Updates are posted out on behalf of our clients on a very regular basis.

Street Voice will work with any Artist/Band/Label whatever the genre as long as their music is not Homphobic, Racist or Sexist.

Street Voice also welcomes the participation of the Female Artist within the scene. Unfortunately many people to pass up the chance to check out the positive contribution women put in to the scene. Street Voice aims to put that right and make sure that women do have an important role to play in the Independent Music scene whether they play in band, write a zine, promote shows etc.

I also put on live shows in Margate at the West Coast Bar/Venue. For more information on the venue etc please click HERE .

Politically Street Voice is Marxist. I make no apologies for my disgust at the state of the capitalist world. It sucks - Plain and simple!

I also make no apologies for my staunch Anti Fascist and Animal Rights beliefs. My sentiments are that direct action will be the only way to destroy both Fascism and Animal Abuse. Those beliefs will be with me to the day I die.

As I want to keep this page music related please click on the image below to visit the main Street Voice site.

If you would like to get involved with Street Voice please send in all material to the address at the top of this page. You will be surprised with how much time and effort I will put in on behalf of your band, your label, your fanzine etc. Many bands, labels and fanzines have been pleased with the effort that has been put in on their behalf.

This service is NON profit and has been set up as an alternative to all the mainstream rubbish that is about. I offer 100% dedication towards Street Voice to make this alternative work and many have been happy with the work I do for them.

Thank you to everyone who supported Street Voice in 2007. Without you there would be no site or no E-Zine. Hopefully you support will contniue through 2008 as Street Voice goes from strength to strength. SUPPORT YOUR SCENE!
