| Stig Rindvoll has listened to, and played lots of different music styles over the years. His songwriting is inspired by the beautiful Norwegian nature, and romantic classical composers from the past. (Wagner, Rachmaninov, Grieg, Beethoven.) The production tecniques are borrowed from trance and other modern music. (Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Robert Miles etc.) The idea is to make classical music in a modern package. Stig use computers, synthesizers and acoustic/electric guitars for production. Computer/software: Mac, Logic Studio, Virus Powercore, Arturia Jupiter 8v, Arturia Analog Factory, Korg Analog/Digital Edition, Native Instruments Kontakt, FM8, Massive, Absynth, Focusrite Liquidmix. Instruments/hardware: Paul Reed Smith (1987), Yamaha classical, Sigma steel strings, Ibanez bass, Pod XT guitar preamp, Yamaha EX5 and Waldorf Blofeld synths, Korg Pad Kontrol, Peavey T9000 tube mic, Sennheiser MD421 dynamic mic, Mackie HDR824 monitors, Motu 896 audio interface, Joe Meek preamp. Stig has help from different writers, remixers and vocalists: Jan Roar Gjersvold, Martin Garstad, Lillian Iversen, Tina Dany aka Cherry. |
