With a background in music it seemed obvious to combine his passion with house music & playing instruments into one. Stephan started playing the Piano at the age of twelve. After a few years of lessons he moved on to playing the guitar. Fifteen years were spent playing electric, acoustic, and classical guitar. Three years ago Stephan purchased his first set of turn tables, the rest is history.....With an onslaught of newest beats and a clever ear for mix-ability, Stephan has set a standard. He commits to his self-taught sound of groovy house music inspired by greats such as; Steve Lawler, Addy, Deep Dish, and Sean Miller. Stephan likes to tell stories on the decks. Always starting on particular note and of course finishing on an even stronger one.....With a style and reputation like no other Stephan Voigt has gone from a virtual unknown to one of Canada's top performers. With residencies at Dragonfly Nightclub, Comfort Zone ( Come Get Your Fcuk'In Beats Events), and On 81 Martini Haus, he is a niche DJ with mass appeal. His creative groove inspired opening sets have landed him slots before/ alongside international DJ's such as; Armin Van Buuren, Dubfire ( Deep Dish ), Nick Warren, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Markus Schulz, Benny Benassi, Luke Fair, Peter Presta, DJ Exacta, Blank & Jones, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom, Alex Peace, and David Garcia.During this time Stephan has been playing alongside Toronto's Elite line up of Dj's & Producers such as DJ Addy, Manzone & Strong, Mark Oliver, Deko-ze, Joee Cons, Carlo Lio, The Junkies, Flipside, Nathan Barato, Sydney Blu & Kenny Glasgow.Stephan embraces an electric sound that stems from all of his influences.
