About Me
D.J. since 1981. My Favourite styles are Deep US and Pumpin House Music. Everything started with my little Record Shop called DAMI Records where i sold International Vinyl. But of course only the rare and hard to get stuff. Some clubs booked me and than it started up slowly. I had the luck to play my music in many different clubs in Holland, (Thats where i was born, raised and lived for 32 years) Germany, Belgium, Spain, Greece and on and on.......I performed as a resident-D.J. for nearly 10 years in a famous well know club called Depot in MÃ¼nster and, at the same time, Notaufname in Vechta. The style i played there i called Holland-House because it was very influenced by music from the dutch clubs like Parkzicht, Goldfinger, Warehouse Oldenzaal, Mazzo and Barocci and later Chemistry. I also had the luck to do the warming up on many events for deejays like Ron Trent, Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Terrence Parker and Farley Jackmaster Funk.In Holland i played with Miss Monica, Eddy de Clerq, Per, Sven van Hees, Marcello, Remy, Michel de Hey and lots of others.In Germany where i play the most i have a lot of good friends i played with like: Winni, Cutmaster Jay, Khetama and their 20(000000)Fingers, Mario de Bellis, Mike Dragon, Miquele, Laszlo, Zico, Svenson, zuHouse Rockers, Oliver Klein, Claus Bachor, Ben Yang, Dr Motte, Sebastian Fiebag alias Zwiebak, Nathalie de Borah, You Have Enough Already???Then read on: Groovemaster K., Roland Casper, Peewee, Oliver Bondzio, Mister Twister, Da Hool, Moquai, Karotte, Tanith, Andry Nalin, Disco Devil, Flash..n Funk Crew, Hen B., Tricky and all those i forgot here, i..m sorry but too much is too much.Oh Shit! I forgot my favourite English Party People: Andy Tex Jones and Steve Travell alias Pussy 2000, Anthony Michael (R.I.P.) and Scotty and Kenny ( Where are ya you e-heads?)If you are still not bored: I spinned also on Sounds meets Paradise Open Air Parties in Ost-Friesland where Zwiebak and i won an Award for being best DJ of Ost-Friesland 2000 (he the youngest and I for being so fuckin.. old! What the Fuck: Award is Award!!!)I did performances on Radio in Ost-Friesland, Aachen, NRW-Radio, Radio NRG Leipzig, University Radio Bielefeld and Radio Oost in Hengelo Holland and a few others but they won..t cum up right now. I forgot a few clubs where i worked as an almost-resident: Werk 2 Oldenburg, Titty Twister Verl, Fusion MÃ¼nster, Metropool Hengelo,. Hope you like my Life so far but i know i do.Im maried for 10 Years to my lovely Doreen and i enjoyed every day of it. Together we have a 3 year old son called Maximiliaan Maarten. He..s so cool and likes playing music and soccer a lot ( he..s half Dutch hÃ¨!?!)
