Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Orange bubbles SAM SYLK:He's known as the Sylkiest Man in Radio, Sam is a TV/Radio show host and on air personality, formerly of WGCI, Chicago and Power 99, Philadelphia . The Columbia School of Broadcasting is where he attended school and began his eight year career in broadcasting. He previously attended Kennedy King College also located in Chicago , IL . .While attending school, Sam had an on air show at WKKC and WOUI college radio stations. Later, he moved to Columbus , MS to his first paid job at WACR and soon moved on to work in Helena , AR (KCLT) and Tulsa , OK (KTOW) and (KJMM). Sam later returned to Chicago , IL where he worked full time in Fort Wayne , IN (WJFX) and drove home to do weekends on WGCI. Sam was paving his way quickly in radio, moving to Cleveland for a spot light position in radio for the next three years. During his three years in Cleveland his 2pm-6pm show was number one in the city which held an 18-34 demographic listening audience. Thus the birth of Chicago 's Sylkiest man alive in radio.Sam is a family oriented man who also loves to spend time giving back to the community. Outside of his congested and busy schedule, Sam sets aside time to contribute to the community. He speaks at area schools about being in radio and motivates students to succeed and continue their education in school. |
